The hotel faces one of the oldest cinemas - "Hanzhonkov House", ahd there is Chaikovski Concert Hall, the Satire theatre and Mayakovsky theatre are on its right. Patriarshiye Ponds where the events of Michail Bulgakogv's novel "Master and Margareth" took place and the house of its author with the famous apartment № 50 are within two minute walk from the hotel. It is next to the Mayakovskaya metro station (3 minutes walk) which is often considered to be the most beautiful metro station in Moscow.
